The best brands of oil boilers
First of all, you have American Standard, the oil boiler
ratings with this brand being particularly good. The boilers they manufacture are very
efficient and durable due to the cast iron three pass heat exchanger. This company sells the oil
boiler and the oil burner separately, but this shouldn’t represent a problem for any buyer.
Another five would be Dettson, a brand sold in Canada and produced by
International Comfort Products. There are two series with this manufacturer, a HMR series and a HMT
one. The first series mentioned is for heating, while the second one is for heating and for hot
water. This company is the one providing its clients with the best warranty conditions in the
entire oil boiler industry.
Also a five, Olsen is a Canadian brand belonging to ECR International. This
brand also has two series, an OSFH one and an OSW one. The boilers in the first series have an 86%
AFUE, they are chimney vented and they have a hot water coil. Access is facilitated with these
boilers which have a burner door. On the other hand, the OSW boilers are vented directly. All
boilers with this brand have very good warranties.
Next in the oil boiler ratings is Trane, a brand belonging to Ingersoll Rand and
manufacturing XR85 oil boilers. These boilers are manufactured in seven sizes and they also have a
cast iron three pass heat exchanger. Also, there is a door with the burner for easier access when
doing the maintenance work and the warranty with these boilers is one of the best.
Also a good brand would be Bryant, a brand which belongs to Carrier Corporation
and which manufactures Preferred series BW4/5 oil boilers with an efficiency rate of 86% and very
good warranty. Carrier has Performance 86 oil boilers, with an 86% AFUE. These units have a door at
the level of the burner for better access and a domestic hot water coil.
Last but not least, we will take a look at the Peerless oil boilers, produced by
PB Heat Llc, which have the WBV/WV series, the Pro series and the Pinnacle one, the first one for
hot water or steam, the second one producing cast iron three pass oil boilers and the third one
producing condensing boilers with a 93% AFUE rate.
