Weil McLain WTGO Oil Fired Boiler Review

Weil McLain WTGO Oil Boiler is an oil-fired boiler with a tankless water heater. The unit is a high Energy Star Rating Efficiency of 85%. The construction of the boiler is an important part of the efficiency rating.

The WTGO Series boiler has a one block with tie rods. Plus a high temperature sealant is used to create a permanent gas tight seal. Thereby saving you money.

The boiler is also protected by an Elastomer sealant that is water tight, this sealant stops any water from leaking from the seals and from the cast iron nipples. Weil McLain is so invested in keeping their customers happy that the construction of the boilers are machined to completely stop the seal rings located in each section of the boiler from leaking.

The WTGO has two flue outlets, one on the back of the boiler and one on the top. The boiler comes with a factory wired circulator and a service switch, which will help keep up the maintenance on the boiler and keep the operation of the boiler running smooth.

Not every basement has perfectly straight and level floors. Many homes may have the boilers with shims in place to keep the boiler level. But one of the best features that the WTGO Oil Fired Boilers have is they have supports installed on them so if you have an uneven floor, the boiler remains in place.
