Moen Faucet is also credited with being the first to offer a filtering faucet to feature dual waterways in the spout, and two independent valves to allow for both filtered and non-filtered water. And for those times when there is barely enough clearance to slide a large pan under the faucet, Moen invented the Riser product line that allows the user to elevate the nozzle up to ten inches above the sink.

Its array of moen faucets includes the Banbury Line which characteristically has the low arching faucet in stainless steel or brushed nickel plating. It is comparable in profile to the Caldwell line but a notch up on the pricing due to the rigidity of construction. In the two-handle design is also Eva, but a bit downscale in pricing from even Banbury.

Chrome finish is the primary offering. If we migrate to the choice single-handle operation of the Muirfield line, the smooth four inch center-set feature is preferred because of ease of installation paired with the water conservation feature without compromising performance. Brantford in about the same price range has an aerated water flow, and one-hole mount in exclusively chrome finish.

All these brands install in about an hour assuming the old faucet has not corroded the main locking nut. It is important to be patient with yourself and the old fixture here. Keep in mind the entire process can be made easier by applying a good grade penetrating lubricant from the top and the bottom of the main locking nut. And do not forget to thoroughly clean and dry the mounting surface to assure barely-visible leaks do not occur below the sink.
